Digital multimedia projector

Digital projector w/remote & screen - Arlo Niederer

Celestron 8" f/10, battery powered 2000mm Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) scope.  It too has full R.A. & Dec. scales, 6x30 viewfinder, several 1.25 eyepieces(MA25mm & MA10mm), field tripod w/bubble level, 4 filters, manual, red flashlight & a Telrad speedfinder.  With the proper additional accessories, it can be fitted for photography & solar viewing.  The custodian is MIKE MAURER who can be reached at Teton Mountaineering at  733.3595.  See photo above.  They are also the club's custodian of the laser pointer, but this is not checked out w/the telescope & is only for use at star parties/meetings. Also included is a Type II solar filter.

We have been given the permanent loan of a Celestron NexStar 11 from the MARS family. ANN & CHUCK are the custodians of this terrific scope, however, it is NOT available for member loan. Instead, it will just be used by a couple of the club's more accomplished members for club meetings and star parties.

Newest addition as of June 2005, is a 3.5" Meade refractor courtesy of Bob Scott who moved to Washington state & wished us to have this instrument.  It is virtually new in the box, has 4, .965 oculars & a tripod w/6x50 finderscope.  Custodian is KURT JOHNSON.

We have our 11x80 Orion binoculars with tripod.  MIKE SILVERMAN is also their custodian and they too can be checked out by any paid-up-to-date club member.  Call 543.2998.

Our club has access to several more SCTs, refractor & reflector telescopes owned by the Teton Science School which is an associate member of our club & where we periodically hold meetings.

ARLO is the custodian of the Sharp digital multimedia projector seen above.  Anyone can put a program into their computer/laptop, & run it on the projector.
